1. What's the purpose of having a DJ at a wedding?

We offer your crowd musical entertainment, we can even act as "Master of Ceremonies". A Professional DJ offers an elegant dining mood as well as a fun entertaining atmosphere for all who attend.



2. What type of music do you have and what will you play at my event?

CMB Music Productions offers a variety of music formats and will discuss your music requests as well as music that is not allowed or wanted with an in-person or phone consultation. Our online music request system and song search features are available to all of our customers, and has easy access 24/7. 




3. How much do you charge?

Our rates are competitive and vary on the type of event you are planning, and the entertainment package you select. Travel fees may also apply. Choose your event type and get an instant quote online. 4. Do you provide backup equipment at my event?

Yes! We have back-up equipment for key components of our systems, and have company DJs and a pool of network DJs in the north and east Texas areas to help ensure that the show goes on in case of illness.




5. Does the DJ know the proper etiquette for my type of event?

Yes. CMB Music Productions only takes bookings for events we specialize in. Which include: Schools, Formals, Proms, Birthdays, Weddings, Reunions, Pool Parties, Christmas Parties, Picnics and more!




6. How much time do you allow for set-up?

This depends upon the entertainment package you select. Typically our DJs arrive 1 hour before your event starts.




7. Do you provide a written contract?

YES.- We provide contracts containing all information about the event which confirms your DJ with CMB Music Productions.




8. Why should I choose CMB Music Productions for my event?

9. What do you use to play music? (CDs, Tapes, PC, 8 Tracks)

We use high quality mixing software. It's not Windows Media Player. It's not iTunes. It's a DJ application that allows us to mix and blend the music smoothly and flawlessly while granting fast access to our complete library. We have over 20 thousand songs to choose from. Benefits to PC DJing include: duplicate leagal libraries between our systems, organization, instant song searches, no scratched cds, 100% digital sound, and a cleaner more organized setup appearance. Our music is legal and is from the CDs that we own or are provided to us through our worldwide DJ music provider. All of our music files are high quality audio which makes a big difference in the sound you hear at your event. This is one feature that sets us apart from other DJ companies. Each DJ has 2 computer systems and 2 hard drives on site. Should our primary computer system go down, we change a few cables, and the music is back up in a matter of seconds.




10. What forms of Payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, or money order. And we accept Visa, Mastercard, Deiscover, and American Express.





11. What's the difference in your service and everyone else other than price?

That depends on what other DJ service you are considering. I should refer you to our top 5 reasons on the wedding page. We have an excellent reputation of being the best in the services we provide. Our setups look good, sound good, and we get the details right. We're a full time professional DJ company, not weekend warriors.




12. Do you have references?

Yes! CMB Music Productions has references from: The American Cancer Society, Carrier Corp., Brookshire's Grocery, Palestine, Athens, Midland, Slocum, Sulphur Springs ISDs, TK Gorman, All Saints and more! Visit the "Reviews" section for client reviews or call our office for a detailed list.



13. What is your cancellation policy?

Dates are our "inventory". When an event is booked, we hold one of our DJs for you on that date. We turn away any other events that come along because we have committed to be available to you. If a cancellation is made within 90 to 61 days from your event, 50% of the contract amount is due. Any retainer amount will be included. If a cancellation is made within 0 to 60 days from the event, The total amount of the contract is due. Again, any retainer paid will be included. If a cancellation is made more than 90 days of your event, any retainer amount paid is non refundable.

14. We decided to go with a band.

Is the band going to MC and execute the different events? How many breaks will the band be taking? How long will those break be? Will the band provide lighting for themselves and the dance floor? You may still be in need of our services.So call us to discuss what we can do for you that your band won't.
